Description: Taken straight from tvtropes.org: The story begins when best friends Cress Albane and Chester Burklight return from a hunting trip to find that their entire village has been destroyed, and their families slaughtered. That’s as far as I got. I’ve barely scratched the surface of this game.
Positives: The battle screen has a bit of a spatial component to it. Cress can run up to enemies and slash them, sometimes even hitting two at once. Cress also moves quickly on the map screen.
The game does a good job of guiding me where I need to go. I didn’t feel lost, but I did feel that the open field to the north of the first town may have done that.
Negatives: Nothing exciting happened while I played. Maybe the game picks up later on, but I never felt anything that made me want to keep playing.

Final Opinion: The gameplay had a decent concept, but absolutely nothing really drew me in.
Progress: Early on, first town just got attacked
Grade: C
